The Letter

This is one of the kindest things you may ever see..

It is not known who replied, but there is a beautiful soul working in the dead letter office of the US postal service.

Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these word

Dear God,
Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick.
I hope you will play with her. She likes to play with balls and to swim. I am sending a picture of her so when you see her You will know that she is my dog. I really miss her.
Love, Meredith

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office. A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet.. I told her that I thought He had.

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed, 'To Meredith' in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it. Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, 'When a Pet Dies..' Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey &Meredith and this note:

Dear Meredith,
Abbey arrived safely in heaven.
Having the picture was a big help. I recognized Abbey right away.
Abbey isn't sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart. Abbey loved being your dog. Since we don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets to keep your picture in, so I am sending it back to you in this little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.
Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you write it and sending it to me. What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you.
I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much.
By the way, I'm easy to find, I am wherever there is love.

Love,
God

GOD'S Love is More Than Enough

By Anonymus

It was on Sunday morning when I had this severe pain in my abdominal, when I woke up I told my husband and we didn't go to church we rush to see a doctor, to our amazement doctor told us that I was pregnant and he gave me medication to treat the pain and we were happy for the good news.

Monday I went to work as usual and everything was fine up until it was time to go home, on my way home the same pain I had on Sunday morning came back this time it was not going anywhere. At home my husband tried to nurse me by making me drink the medication that I got from the doctor but now the pain was still there. Imagine me and my husband without any medical aid for us to go to private hospitals, so we had to go to the public hospital and it was 9.00pm and we had to wait up until Tuesday 1.00am to see a doctor, when the doctor saw us, he said I had an ectopic pregnancy which means the pregnancy is growing in one of my tubes instead of a womb and the worst it had ruptured and was leaking, and it was going to leak up until I die.

He told us that he is going to cut the tube that had an ectopic and I will be left with one. So the doctor said I need to be rushed to the theatre where they will be operating on me to take out the pregnancy. When I look at my husband, I could see his sad face, and when I was ready to be taken to the theatre, I had a chit chat with the doctor who was going to do all the operation, I asked him if it is possible to have another ectopic and he said its rarely but yes it is possible and again if it damages the second tube that is left, they will be forced to cut it out and be left with no tubes and won't be able to have kids.

I told him that even if the ectopic happen again God won't allow the tube to be cut, and the doctor looked at me and ask if I was a believer and I told him, yes I believe in God. He said you just don't only need theatre only, you need to believe as well. The operation was done round about 3.00 am and when I woke up in the recovery room, the nurse told me that my husband and my doctor were long waiting for me and I was transported to the ward where I was going to be taken care of , so I met my husband and doctor, and the doctor told us that they did not cut the tube, they were able to just remove the pregnancy without cutting my tube so I still have my two tube. God saw how I trusted HIM and HE rewarded me with HIS beautiful miracle for the doctor not to cut even one tube.

I just want to say that God's love is more than enough, when you trust HIM, depend on HIM, HE will definintly show you HIS everlasting love. GLORY TO MY ALMIGHTY, WONDERFUL, MARVELLOUS GOD.

Indeed HE is alive, Halleluyah

Prayers That Bring Results

Are your prayers being heard? Have you been fervently praying for something for a long time and are just about at the point of giving up? Maybe you feel that God just will not listen to you.

There's a parable about a woman who kept on pleading an evil judge to save her from her enemy. This judge did not love God nor did he care about helping people in trouble. But, because he was tired of being harassed by this woman, he finally gave in to her demands. Why then, if an evil judge reacts that way to persistent prayer, would God not give much more to his own child right away? Therefore, Jesus said, keep on praying that way, and do not give up! However good it is to be persistent and fervent when you pray, there is still one important component missing: faith! (Luke 18: 1-8)

Jesus wondered whether he would find faith on the earth when he returns! How sad he must have been to contemplate a faithless world. He had come to go to the cross to set them free, and yet he knew that most would reject his love! He obviously had encountered very little faith in Israel. He saw more faith in some pagans.

There was a Roman centurion, who told Jesus that he did not have to come to his house to heal his daughter. He told him that he knew that as soon as Jesus spoke the command, his daughter would be healed! Jesus totally marveled at this, exclaiming that he had not found such great faith in Israel! (Mat. 8: 5-10)

The centurion understood the power of authority. He knew from the army, that once a command was spoken, it had to be carried out, even a long distance away! He understood that if God had said it, it was done! There was no hesitation, no wondering, and no wavering.

Then there was a Canaanite woman, whose daughter was demon possessed. Jesus at first totally ignored her until his own disciples pleaded with him repeatedly on her behalf! What's more, he tested her faith even more by telling her bluntly that he had come for Israel; not for dogs! However, she relentlessly persisted.

This woman was so hungry to receive her blessing that she was as hopeful, expectant and patient as a dog waiting for crumbs to fall from the table! She had a fervent request, steadfast faith, and would not let go until her daughter was delivered! In this case also, the daughter was not even present, but was healed instantly! Jesus remarked: "O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt." (Mat. 15: 22-28)

These two individuals did not even know God! They were both pagans. Yet, they had heard of the man of God in Israel, who was doing miracles. That stirred such great faith in them, that they wanted to know this God and receive his blessings!

My friend, meditate on these three scriptures and make an honest assessment as to what area of your prayer life may need improvement. Are you hungry enough? Are you relentlessly persistent, refusing to give up until you get your answer, or maybe you need to develop more faith?

God has given you the measure of faith. (Rom. 12: 4) All you need to do is exercise it. May I recommend that you don't wait until you need a miracle. A good way to start honing your faith is to pray for someone else's headache. When you start out praying for your own body, you may tend to check the symptoms, inadvertently allowing doubt to slip in. As your faith grows, so will your persistence and authority. The symptoms will soon disappear when they discover you mean business and are doing warfare in the mighty name of Jesus!

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Heb. 11: 1,6)

Woman without arms, legs becomes a mom

Josette Ulibarri was just like any other mother preparing to leave the hospital with her first child. She was happy to be going home, a little bit nervous and glad her mother will be there to help.

The only thing that makes Ulibarri different is that she has no arms and no legs, a condition she was born with.

Her little girl, Jaira Preciousa Faith Barrios, was born Thursday at Phoenix baptist Hospital weighing 5 pounds, 8 ounces and is the picture of good health.

"She is amazing," Ulibarri said. "She was everything we dreamed of. She was our gift from God."

Ulibarri is a quiet woman of deep faith who seemed uncomfortable with the attention from the media and the nearly constant check-ins from hospital staff who were happy for her personally and interested in her medically.

God is great!!!

This is 'Faith'

This dog was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2002. He was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which need to be amputated. He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him.

His first owner also did not think that he can survive. Therefore, he was thinking of 'putting him to sleep'. By this time, his present owner, Jude Stringfellow, met him and wanted to take care of him. She is determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself. Therefore she named him 'Faith'.

In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfing board to let him feel the movements. Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and reward for him to stand up and jump around. Even the other dog at home also helped to encourage him to walk. Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward. After further training in the snow, he now can walk like a human being.

Faith loves to walk around now. No matter wh ere he goes, he just attracts all the people around him.
He is now becoming famous on the international scene. He has appeared on various newspapers and TV shows.

There is even one book entitled 'With a little faith' being published about him. He was even considered to appear in one of Harry Potter movies.

His present owner Jude Stringfellew has given up her teaching post and plans to take him around the world to preach that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul'.

In life there are always undesirable things. Perhaps one will feel better if one changes the point of view from another direction.

I hope this will bring fresh new ways of thinking to everyone and that everyone can appreciate and be thankful for each beautiful day that follows. Faith is the continual demonstration of the Strength of Life

If Faith can do it,...... So can you!
